Other Qualifications: Jim Greenwood served on Houston City Council for 12 years (1989-93) and was an Associate/Partner at Vinson & Elkins for 20 years (1961-80); Of Counsel to Glickman & Barnett (1989-93) and Greenwood, Koby, Old, Pinson and Bussey (1981-89); President of the Houston Bar Association (1978-79) and Texas Young Lawyers ("State Junior Bar" -1970-71); Chairman of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards (1975-78); and member of the Rice University faculty (Lecturer) teaching mediation to undergraduates. He also taught Business/Commercial law to graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Houston College of Business Administration (1998-2001).
