Join us for our Advanced Attorney-Mediator Training, Annual Meeting, and CLE Seminar as we “Meet in St. Louis” for our return to an in-person conference. This highly interactive meeting will highlight how mediators “meet people where they are” in the mediation process. We will offer sessions on framing questions and working with different personalities in mediation. Sessions will also cover risk assessment, ethical dilemmas, and confronting bias in mediation. Featured speakers include top mediators from across the country to bring you a well-rounded day of learning and building upon your mediation skills.

The training begins midday on Friday, April 28, 2023 and ends midday on Saturday, April 29, 2023. We will complete the seminar with a highly requested optional marketing segment, following the adjournment of the AAM training.
This is an in-person live CLE Seminar and many of the interactive sessions will not be recorded for post-event on-demand viewing. Please plan to join us in-person in St. Louis to reconnect with colleagues and share together in two days of learning and networking. The total live seminar will be accredited for up to 7.5 hours of CLE credit in many states.

Non-members may apply for membership within one year and apply $125 of the non-member registration fee toward their first year’s membership dues. Membership includes a group mediator/arbitrator professional liability insurance policy.

There will be a professional photographer/videographer on-site during the CLE Seminar capturing footage for AAM. By registering and attending this CLE Seminar you agree to be photographed / videoed, and you agree to your image/likeness being used in future AAM communications, including marketing and social media efforts.
Host Hotel and Meeting Venue:
The meeting venue will be the fabulous Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta hotel located in the Central West End. (212 N Kingshighway, St. Louis, MO). Plan to stay for the weekend to enjoy all that St. Louis has to offer!
The group room rate is offered at $229 per night, plus tax, inclusive of WiFi and on-site parking. Rate is available April 27-30, 2023 for those who wish to arrive early or depart at the end of the weekend.

Optional Offerings:
You are invited to join us for "Dinner with a Group" if you arrive on Thursday evening. More information will be emailed to you when it is available. The group will meet at Rockwell Brewing Co for everyone to enjoy time together as they arrive and check in on Thursday evening. This has become a fun time before the conference - time to get to know others and reacquaint before the conference begins! See the registration form to indicate your interest.
Friday evening we will enjoy cocktails and hors d'orves together at The Zodiac Ballroom on the 11th floor of The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta. Spouses/companions may pay to attend the cocktail reception - see the information on the registration form.
Friday Dinner Dine Arounds: A few local St. Louis AAM Members are excited to share their home city with us and will "host" small groups for dinner at various restaurants throughout the city. Dinner will be dutch treat. Attendance at dinner is optional and signup sheets for various restaurants will be available on-site Friday during the conference. More details will be shared via email regarding group sign-up, dining locations available, transportation, etc. Please see information on registration form to let us know you're interested.
Saturday early afternoon we will enjoy the popular Bonus Marketing for mediators, after the training conference ends. This bonus session is optional (and included in the registration fee) and no CLE credit will be offered. A light snack will be served to attendees. You may select this optional bonus section on the registration form.

In early May we plan to offer a shortened version of this seminar as a recorded on-demand viewing option for CLE credit of up to 4.0 hours in some states. Please note: watching the recordings may not result in CLE credit due to various states' guidelines on recorded viewing. AAM will make application for accreditation in states where possible. The price for viewing the shortened on-demand version will be $175 for members; $275 for non-members.
