Additional Qualifications

In addition to mediation training, I have served as University Ombudsperson at DePaul for twenty-two years. In that capacity, I have received Ombuds training from The Ombudsman Association (TOA) and attended annual trainings by TOA, the University and College Ombuds Association, and the International Ombuds Association. I have also coached mediation at DePaul's Center for Dispute Resolution training programs. I also worked with Katheryn Dutenhaver to co-found and co-direct (at DePaul College of Law) the Center's Interfaith Family Mediation Project, which I have directed after Professor Dutenhaver's retirement. I have also taught a skills course in Family Mediation Law at DePaul's College of Law and I teach international mediation for DePaul's Grace School for Applied Diplomacy.
